Farmland Food parent sells to a Chinese company

Farmland Foods, headquartered in Kansas City, but owned by a parent company, sold to a Chinese company for billions of dollars.  The acquisition is not expected to change the management or employment numbers for Farmland Foods.  Farmland has plants in Putnam and Sullivan counties.
